Frequently Asked Questions

Question: What if we have a schedule conflict such as other sports, vacations, etc...?

Answer: Our goal is to always keep our pricing fair so that you pay for the time that you are there. If you know you will miss sessions ahead of registration, please let us know through our Contact page so that we can discuss a pro-rated price.

Question: What if our child is new to hockey and doesn't have much experience?

Answer: All 3 camps are designed to build the fundamental skills from the ground up. We break skills down to their most basic concept, and steadily build step by step layering on additional concepts to the skill we are focusing on. This allows all skaters to improve quickly and consistently regardless of their starting point.

The only exception is the Spring Position Camp for age groups 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U. This camp focuses on developing specific positions which most new skaters won't be ready for. However, the 8U & 10U age groups in the Spring Position Camp will largely focus on fundamentals in gameplay situations so that they learn general hockey concepts that apply to all positions.

Question: What if we aren't able to pay in full at the time of registration?

Answer: We don't ever want a player to be turned away from a camp because of the cost or the timing of having registration fees due. If you have an issue with the cost or the timing of the deadline, please reach out through our Contact page so that we can work out a plan for your skater to attend.

Question: What equipment is needed for the camps?

Answer: We require a full set of hockey equipment for all of our camps. If you don't have a complete set of hockey equipment, there is an equipment rental option available through the Learn to Play Hockey program. If you need equipment, please let us know through our Contact page.
